Accordéon Mélancolique 'Duo' From Holland
This dynamic accordion duo from the Netherlands were successful in having their 1999 recording awarded the Best Accordion CD of 1999 in Sweden. On the back of this, they were invited to play at the International Accordion Festival in Reykjavik.
The duo gave two major concerts, one of a very intimate character in the Nordic Hous and one described as a more glossy nature in "Broadway". The duo performed to an audience at one, and provided dance music at the other, with accompaniment of a Icelandic guitarist and Bass player.
They also performed at an open air concert, in a museum, at the Kringlukrain Jan Club and on National Icelandic Television.
