Inspiration

Django
Almost half a century after his death, guitarist Django Reinhardt (1910-1953) remains the most efficient trait d’union between the world of gypsies and non-gypsies. This exceptionally gifted musician gave European jazz a characteristic flavour with his Hot Club de France, and inspired many to carry the torch he left behind

Stéphane
Violist Stéphane Grappelli (1908-997), who brought warmth to jazz with his graceful style and technique. A pioneer, referred to as the soul and voice of jazz violin.

Charles
Charles Trenent (1913-2001) had more swing than most vocalists of his day. In contrast to a whole generation of singers with a more classical approach and a more reserved stage posture, his swing unleashed such uproar in Paris that it earned him the nickname le fou chantant

Gus
Gus Viseur (1915-1974), accordionist virtuosos and sensitive performer, was only able to play if the setting suited him. His admiration of American culture got him into a lot of trouble in Paris during the war.
